摘要： A tape cartridge according to an embodiment of the present technology includes: a tape reel; a cartridge case; and a reel lock member. The tape reel includes a reel hub having a bottomed cylindrical shape, a tape having been wound on the reel hub. The cartridge case includes a first protruding portion and a plurality of second protruding portions, the first protruding portion protruding toward a center of a bottom portion of the reel hub, the plurality of second protruding portions being arranged around the first protruding portion. The reel lock member is disposed inside the reel hub. The reel lock member includes a first tubular portion and a plurality of second tubular portions, the first tubular portion fitting with the first protruding portion, the plurality of second tubular portions fitting with the plurality of second protruding portions. The reel lock member is movable in a direction of the one axis between a lock position and a lock release position, the reel lock member engaging with the bottom portion of the reel hub at the lock position, engagement between the reel lock member and the bottom portion of the reel hub being released at the lock release position.

摘要： An optical semiconductor device includes: semiconductor lasers; a wave coupling section multiplexing light output by the semiconductor lasers; first optical waveguides respectively optically connecting respective semiconductor lasers to the wave coupling section; a phase regulator regulating phase of reflected light that is reflected at a reflecting point located in the optical semiconductor device and that returns to the semiconductor lasers; a second optical waveguide optically connecting the wave coupling section to the phase regulator; an optical amplifying section amplifying output light of the phase regulator; and a third optical waveguide optically connecting an output of the phase regulator to the optical amplifying section. The phase regulator adjusts the phase of reflected light that returns to the semiconductor lasers to decrease line width of the light output by the semiconductor lasers.

摘要： Approaches to reducing the natural frequency of a voice coil motor (VCM) in a hard disk drive include configuring one or both of the yokes with at least one mating structure that comprises a step feature that partitions the mating structure into a contact surface and a recessed surface, where the contact surface is toward the outer area of the mating structure and contacts a corresponding mating structure of the other yoke and the recessed surface is toward the inner area of the mating structure and does not contact with the corresponding mating structure of the other yoke. Consequently, the distance between the fixed points is increased, which reduces the natural frequency and thus the resonance of the VCM assembly.
